Nice looking list. I'd probably just make it one album per band though, then you can get a few more modern classics in there from other bands.

Thank you. I limited it to one album per band when I originally made it but I just felt certain bands such as Cobalt and BaN deserved to be mentioned twice.

Check it.

I do really enjoy that album. I think I may have overlooked it when making this list because I considered their last album to be rather terrible.

Can't argue with that. BaN especially considering that they / he tackled quite a few different styles.

Gators Unfurl is pretty bad, but TGSD is miles (country miles, even ) better.

That was fantastic. I think I had heard snippets of that album before but I hadn't listened to the whole thing until now. It will most assuredly join this list after a few more listens.

No offence, Neachy. But, black metal lists are now gettin' supper annoying. With same albums on roaster picked up by different users and representing in their own way has personally bored me to death.

Okay. Unless you enjoy being annoyed perhaps you should avoid clicking on lists with "BLACK METAL" in the title. Just a suggestion. As for the rest of what you wrote, I can't make heads or tails of it so I'll just take it as insulting and offer you the two finger salute Good day, sir.

Nicely said Neachy. I for one hope you make a black metal list for every year since its inception.

Even Bad English/K7 makes more sense than that annoying so-called Metalhead

Dude, this is one awesome list. Currently I have listened to 27 out of 31 albums of your list and most of them are great if not excellent.

So yeah, my +1 isn't so much for discovering more great music, but rather for my appreciation of a really good list.

Agreed. 1 album/band suits a short list like this better. Then again, Neachy makes a fair point about some bands deserving 2 albums on this list. So I guess you can just ignore this post.

I also second Krallice (With Dimensional Bleedthrough being their best). Not Ygg, though. Terribly boring.

I'm revisiting Diabolical Masquerade. How about Death's Design?

Also, some sigh also would be good, too. I'm not professionally familiar with their disco but they sure as hell have nice tunes.

Verdunkeln, what an amazing album that one is. Will check out Diabolical Masquerade, thanks for the recommendation (even though it wasn't directed at me).

I will relisten to this album but from what I recall, the vocals kind of ruined it for me.
