What's so bad about the new Dark Fortress?

What's so bad about the new Dark Fortress?

Well, the worst thing about that album is that it's WAY too long for its own good. I enjoy long albums, but not when it's that kind of BM. Really kills the replayability for me. I did like the album, but not enough to revisit it (so far).

The biggest gripe I had with the Dark Fortress album was that (for me) I found it really boring, I felt like I could only get past a couple of songs, then after that it really struggled to keep my attention. That said, Black Metal is not my all time favourite genre, except for maybe a bit of Dimmu Borgir (in their good ol' days) and Mayhem.
