Decent list

This is a list worthy to pick up the pieces once more to reassess. Many trend followers for selection imo but I'm all about refining so what do I know?.... Perhaps needs more Oranssi Pazuzu and Swans. Cheers for taking time out to make brother.

Lots of worthy bands there. Rishloo is on my list as well. I sincerely look forward to your list. I almost always find something I missed, or my opinion has changed or something I just forgot when checking others lists.

If Oranssi's debut was from this decade it would definitely be on here. Nothing they've done since that one hit me the same way. Swans is one of those bands that I respect but don't really enjoy listening to.

Yeah I was never one of those that stayed on the Oranssi debut elitst train so to speak. I used to relate to you about Swans (and still do at most works) but Seer and STFTB hit me in a big way. Thanks for offering new music (Evoken/Indesinence/Hwwauoch/Rishloo/Hail Spirit Noir) to learn (again)! Tribulation is the other big gun I meant to highlight initially.

A handful of things that would likely end up on my own best of decade list, but Soilwork sticks out like a sore thumb. A reminder of some great albums I haven't listened to in a long time as well...

That's my favorite thing about seeing these kinds of lists around. Would love to see a decade list from users like you, Joe, Alex and mz (not to mention was anticipating one from Marcel) but I'm not holding my breath as I know how tedious it can be. Listing seems to be a hobby/compulsion of mine though.

Very solid list man - quite a few things on there that either made my list or were in consideration (was only listening to the Netra album a couple of days ago). Some of the more nasty/out there death/doom/sludge/black stuff isn't quite as up my street, but imagining they'll end up on quite a few lists based on their receptions in certain circles on this website.

Thanks, bud. Have you heard that Decoherence album from this past year? That thing had me hypnotized for like 3 weeks until I started making the final preparations for this list.

Your list inspired me to undertake the task of making a "Best Of The Decade" list for myself. Tons of albums on here that will also make it onto my list.
