There are two metal bands named Macbeth (W. Shakespeare). One is gothic metal from Italy, the other German heavy metal. I only know the Italian one, pretty decent.

I had found an interview, where this is confirmed:

Demitri Levantis from Metal-rules.com (May 31, 2022):
"What made you name the band after the character in The Tempest, is there some significance of that Caliban for what the band stands for?"

Andreas Dorner (Caliban, Vocals) :
"Caliban is a wild creature… crude, brutal and untamable. These are at least the characteristics that convinced us of the name “Caliban” back then. Describes the music quite well."

I googled and looked for the progressive metal band named that, no chance
I thought it was so funny, I guess people are fascinated with that book and character.
There are even more bands named like that on discogs.
