I don't know many of the listed songs but Pantera's Cemetery Gates is obviously missing.

hum, I actually don't consider that one as a ballad. And I never could get into Pantera...

I wouldn't call Nevermore's "Sentient 6" a ballad and many other songs listed here, but that is always subjective.

Nevertheless, I think it is a good catalog of metal ballads overall. I don't know a lot of them listed here.
Will check them out.

You did notice that the songs are listed alphabetically by the band's name?
And yes, I consider these songs as a ballad. Of course this is subjective but obviously there are people who agree with me, so don't act as if you set the standards. Others may disagree on some of songs - that's fine with me. But I don't need to yell at them like a madman because their opinion differs from mine.

You could expand the the list of Katatonia songs, these guys have made some great ones. So has My Dying Bride.
